This is probably a question for the MEFilter forum here.

Good luck.

Check to make sure you are not running any filters. If you have MEFILTER in the MTA - verify it is configured correctly or temporarily disable it to see if it is sending messages to the bit bucket.

Re: Mail not going to other hosted domains

I have posted something similar to this in an older posting, but didn't get much help. I hoping this will get more help. I am having an issue email getting to other hosted domains on my Mail Enable server. I am able to send mail to anyone out side of my Mail server, but if the domain is hosted on m...

the most likley reason to be rejected by Hotmail is if you are on a dynamic/or dialup range of IPs (that includes xDSL and Cable) or your IP is blacklisted for some reason. I don't believe Hotmail blocks dynamic IP SMTP connections. But I could be wrong. I know some larger domains already do like A...

Users can change their passwords in webmail. Unfortunately I don't believe MailEnable Standard supports webmail (professional and enterprise have it).

Re: SPF and Hotmail

Hi, could it be, that Hotmail is not accepting emails, which have no SPF entry? Always possible, but highly unlikely. An SPF record is checked by SPF aware mail servers to verify that mail they are receiving is coming from an authorized mail server. Blocking mail that comes from a domain that does ...

Are you running MEFilter? Check the settings carefully. Sometimes missing a setting or incorrectly setting something will send certain messages to the bit-bucket. Also if you have 1.5 check to see you don't have some of the native filtering enabled - if so check to see what you are filtering and if ...

I have never been able to get MEPURGE to delete anything except the inbox even though it says it supports deleting messages in other folders such as send and deleted items.

Re: SMTP Connector Stopped????

thanks for the response. I looked at the logs and see all kinds of activity but nothing unusual, success and failures due to blacklisting - so that is why it seemed strange for this to happen. Are you using the term "choked" as your own or is this something that is really put in the logs when the s...

Check for corrupted message in the SMTP queue. Check logs to find out what message it "choked" on.

Actually this still doesn't address the problem with local relaying to a local domain. Still issues a FAIL when someone relays locally and sends a message to a local user on their own domain (or even another domain on the same box).

Is this going to be addressed?
