We want to create a Track Message API (need your feedback)
Hi, We want to create an API for the Track Message feature so that our teammates can query the logs without logging in to the server. I believe that such a tool can help others too. Although I have guesses, can I ask to MailEnable team "how does Track Message exactly work to get the logs" so that we...

Re: Failed messages are not removed from queue
Hi Ian,
The functionality now became clearer for me and thanks very much for the help.
As a feedback, it can be only me but, the UI makes it feel like any message that is in the queue will be auto-removed after message lifetime.

Failed messages are not removed from queue
Hi, This used to work as expected but seems to be failing for some reason since a while. I have also now upgraded to the latest version hoping that this will fix, but it didn't. We have messages that are retried multiple times but not removed. Our retry settings are as attached and I'm sharing the d...

Is custom Message-Id possible?
MailEnable seems to use to server-name of the sender for the Message-Id header.
Is it possible to change this behavior (without changing the name of the sender server's name)?
Thanks very much.

Re: SMTP-IN exists but not SMTP-OUT in logs
Thanks very much for all the updates. After that day, I have enabled all the logs and messages can be traced. Yet, today, we have again experienced a non-delivery issue. When I traced the message, I see: Trace: Tracing message with Message ID [E5CB1A3EF3C5443AA52E766DD5B0917D.MAI] from the SMTP Inbo...

Re: SMTP-IN exists but not SMTP-OUT in logs
Hi Ian,
As an addition, we didn't have the MTA logs active which I believe makes it impossible to track why QUIT command didn't exist.

Re: SMTP-IN exists but not SMTP-OUT in logs
Ian,
Thanks very much for teh update.
I didn't know this trace option. It deserves a better spot in the application .
The logs don't have the QUIT command but only the SMTP-INs. What does this exactly mean?
Thanks.

SMTP-IN exists but not SMTP-OUT in logs
Hi, Once of the e-mails I was trying to send didn't reach. I have checked the SMTP logs after that and saw that the "SMTP-IN" entry exists but there is no SMTP-OUT (which successful deliveries shall have). Also checked the badmail and SMTP outbound queue but it is not there either. It simply disappe...
