Re: data dissapearing HELP

Strange. I have seen this sort of happen with POP clients as they have a default setting of removing all mail from the server. That wouldnt explain calendars going though. I hate "sync things" in general. It could be, as you are thinking, that one side things it has the latest version (nothing) so s...

Re: Standalone Quarantine Utility

Re: batch delete users

Hi, Maybe you could create some form of grep based batch file that searches and deleted the line where the username matches your list? May be just as easy to search each user and delete, depending on the amount that wait for the utility to appear. There is a gotcha here in that to do this properly t...

Re: Webmail search

Funnily enough I have had a few complaints from users over the past month and was just about to put the "search folders" request for webmail as well.

Re: Bayesian dictionary - alternate languages

When you get to this stage it is a good idea to look at the external Spam Assassin or MX Scan type options for fighting spam. Let the external professional products deal with the issue.

Re: Reset Password for several accounts

All the passwords are stored in an auth.tab file. Turn off your encryption on passwords for a while, copy it then bulk copy into excel and go and mass password change the password column. Save as delimited tab, put back in the structure...

Re: 7.55 upgrade borked webmail, still stuck after downgrade

Mark, There may be some registry changes, or IIS Configuration is someplace screwed. Those couple of DLL's that did not restore could be putting you in some DLL HELL situation. If possible, you may want to consider going back to Step 6 where you were performing your restore. There are a few options....

Re: Filter to block accidental non-BCC group email?

Probably the way to deal with this is to create a filter for the "one person" just nuking and sending them a message to not use BCC. I find this is an "education process" and shake my head and tell people the truth that a "BCC is really only a forward after you send" and if you do it as an FYI it mu...

Re: How to allow for wildcard address handling?

Possibly 2 filters- one standard and one advanced filter could do this. The first filter would be looking for anything destined for "*@mydomain.com*" mark the header with Mydomain=Yes The next filter would be an advanced filter that said something like "if header contains 'Mydomain=Yes' and "to" con...
