Re: Provisioning Templates

With respect to Plesk and server provisioning, I beleive that an APS package would achieve this (We have developed one and are in the process of finalising it with Parallels) It is outlined at: http://apsstandard.org From what I understand, the intention of these packages is allow you to provision s...

Re: Outlook connector and active sync

Further to this, ActiveSync support is available within Outlook 2013 - but at this stage its limited to use with Hotmail/Outlook.com (it wont even talk to exchange - but that was done deliberately). The preview of Outlook 2013 did work with MailEnable's EAS Server, but this changed with the RTM. As ...

Re: W7 x64 and Outlook 2003

Outlook 2003 is 32 bit outlook, so you would need to install the 32 bit connector. We see many machines with this configuration, so there must be something else occuring. Which connector version are you installing (the 32 bit or 64 bit one)? Maybe raise a ticket (under the defect category) so we can...

Re: Windows 8 and Mailenable connector

The crashing could be a third party component - like an integrated AV scanner. We have had reports of this happening - but it occurs even when using IMAP or POP. Also, I would suggest disabling the Email/Outlook indexing component of the Search Indexer, since it is prone to holding outlook sessions ...

Re: ME EAS Management reporting incorrect number of licenses

Unfortunately MailEnable is constrained in the way it licenses EAS. The terms simply have to be that if a mailbox is synchronised within the year that the license is consumed. A way to optimise the expenditure is to buy in blocks rather than a large number at once; but unfortunately you will find th...

Re: Can't configure EAS in Outlook 2013

The preview of Outlook 2013 worked with MailEnable's ActiveSync implementation; however it seems that (MS made a last minute to restrict their implementation to Hotmail). From what I understand, their intention may have been to prevent it being used against Exchange - possibly because the EAS implem...

Re: EAS reply/forward including lots of header garbage

Hi, The Galaxy S3 has its own version of EAS that behaves differently to Android and other handsets. We have recently been working on improviding EAS support with the S3 and with current releases, it should now work correctly. If you are having problems with the S3 or MailEnable in general, it would...

Re: [SOLVED] Error IMAP > Office 2013

We have identified the problem and have a fix. As suggested, it appears to be a bug in Outlook 2013. The following kits address the issue: http://www.mailenable.com/Premium680.exe http://www.mailenable.com/Enterprise680.exe http://www.mailenable.com/Professional680.exe http://www.mailenable.com/Stan...

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

Do you mean ports 80, 25, 110, 143 and their SSL equivilents? MailEnable does not open firewall ports. Err... I dont really think it should. An administrator should do this. At best I think it should test that the ports are open - which the diagnostic report does attempt to do. We could probably mod...

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

Thanks, I have not checked to see the state of the ticket, but I can tell you that the current releases will address the problem. These two fixes are relevant to Windows 2000 FIX: (SMTP) MailEnable would raise an exception and fail to deliver messages on Windows 2000 servers that did not have IPv6 s...
