Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

Hi, Did you raise the support ticket? The issue can be raised as a defect (@ no charge). The information about the environment (diagnostic report) and SMTP Debug/Activity logs will help determine what is occuring. We have some test W2K servers in our lab. On Monday I will ask one of the engineers to...

I suggest updating to the the current release - 6.77, since it has fixes relating to high cpu and memory usage of the EAS process.

Re: Mobile Webmail, error loading the Reply page

Hi Rodrigo, perhaps you could use webmail to download the source of the MAI and then forward it as an attachment to beta@mailenable.com - then we can inspect the message and behaviour. Thanks. Also, the webmail link is probably there too from an old beta setting. There may be a setting under the fol...

Re: TOP command not reporting size

MailEnable does support to TOP command - but (at least in my understanding), the TOP command is not used to report the size of e-mails.
It is used to return the TOP portion of the message.

Re: Upgrade to 6.75 - Crashing daily

Perhaps you could look for a pattern in the SF Debug log at that time. It might show a particular mailbox that the messages are being delivered to at the time of the crash.

A fix (from the MailEnable end) would be include the resource in the SASL realm challenge, so that when it is reported - you can see which resource you are being challenged for. A potential issue with this is that it will not cache credentials for the realm as it did before - but where there are mul...

Re: Apple Address Book & ME CardDAV. How do I connect them?

Yes, it works - I just connected and verified the same - although I only tested on port 80 - it should not really matter though. Is there anything in the HTTPMail log files to indicate connection from the ML client? Perhaps if you PM me details for a mailbox and the server/port I will review and tes...

Re: MAPI Calendar Reminders

Unfortunately this is a limitation of the implementation because the reminder dismissals are stored locally within the Outlook configuration and are not communicated to the server (specifically they are stored in the cached PST which resides under the local Users/Application Data area). So the remin...

Re: Is anyone listening?

As product issues are raised, we work to resolve and provide updates - I'll ensure that any issues cited here are fed into the product register. But in order to provide the best outcome, these issues need to be compiled constructively, and the support ticket system is the best way to ensure that iss...

Re: Mobile Webmail, error loading the Reply page

I could not reproduce the problem (I used current releases). The problem is most likely an old DLL or assembly form an earlier beta that has not been overwritten (perhaps its readonly or something). I would suggest removing any files under the following locations: 1. [Program Files]\Mail Enable\bin\...

Re: Gmail

The best thing to do is to check the SMTP debug and activity logs to see if gmail is refusing the message.

The message tracking utility can also be used to determine where the message is being refused.

Re: Is anyone listening?

It is strange that the ticket has not yielded a result. I think i located the ticket and it is marked as in a waiting state - but there is no work order to fix the issue. This would normally indicate that the issue is fixed, but I will need to talk with the engineer responsible for the ticket to det...

Re: imported outlook contacts with german umlauts get messed

Hi, thanks for reporting these issues. I have raised an internal entry in the produce issue register so that the issue can be investigated. We should be able to emulate without the PST, but if we should need it, it would be great if you could provide (if its needed). Whilst it is not released, it ma...

Re: Cannot send with email client program, can with webmail

Firstly, you should check the SMTP debug and activity logs of the MailEnable Server. I would also suggest verifying that any client SMTP antivirus blocking applicatoins are disabled. You can also use the telnet utility on the client to test connectivity on port 25 to the mailenable server. eg (from ...

(530 C23363_51454.mail.acssecurities.com ESMTP MailEnable Service, Version: 1.8-- denied access at 12/20/12 14:36:28**)
It looks like your local IP address has been blocked/denied by the server. You should open the SMTP Connector properties and review which IP ranges/addresses are being denied.
