I understand the theory based on http://www.mailenable.com/kb/Content/Article.asp?ID=me020345 but I still do not h...

ME doesn't load anything in the DNS, you actually have to set up your DNS information such as your host (mail.whatever.com) and your MX records for your various domains. Be sure to have installed your SMTP server stuff. Now, this is also if your DNS server and e-mail server are the same box. If it i...

Nope, no problems. I installed it and it's still running at around 14 MB of memory. We only have 1 or 2 users using IMAP, so that might be why. Everyone else is using POP3/SMTP for their e-mail serving needs.

Prior to me working for Covenant Data Systems (www.covenantdata.com), I use to work at an ISP. Our e-mail server was a Linux box using nothing more than Sendmail. We had a network admin who installed and modified various SPAM filters. He clued me in that about 80-90% of the e-mail (we were considere...

Also, when will the full version 2.0 be released, or is that all based on how well of feedback is given concerning any bugs? Also, wi...

Although MANY network admins may disagree with me, I recommend rebooting a Windows server once a week. Just pick a time when you know the server will have the least amount of usage (but not at a time way too inconvenient for you) and reboot the server. If your systems is fast like our's, it should b...
