Is anyone listening?

I had another user migrate to MAPI over the holiday (on her own) (v 1.51 on server v 6.7) and lose dozens of her group lists that included hundreds of email addresses. The mailenable server or the MAPI client strips all members of an email group list when it stores it on the server. *poof* gone... y...

Updating Improvements

1) When the server software is updated, can the software leave the windows services as they are found, not set them all to run automatically? 2) MAPI client: Can it be updated from within outlook, and prompt when an update is needed, like Java/Acrobat, etc. As the number of these deployed on clients...

MAPI Frustration

Is anyone else finding themselves frustrated with the MAPI client? I am constantly getting complaints from my users about synchronization not working or working sporadically. I am finding folder structures on the server often not reflecting the folders on the client and, even when I "reset folder to...

Updates

I notice there is a new version of the software out today (the MAPI connector) and was wondering if there is a way for me to get notified when that happens? I seem to get an email when there are major releases but not when there are others. Secondly, is there something in the works where my users wi...

Re: iPhone & iPad mail app crashing

I would also like to confirm this bug. It is happening several times per day to our iPhone users. I have installed console on device on several and the logs do not indicate an obvious problem to me. It is fairly esoteric data. I am also seeing problems with the devices frequently doing a total refre...

Calendar Fields?

I am using ActiveSync and Enterprise Premium. Why are addresses not supported like they are in Outlook? I can't have my contacts addresses in my phone or webmail because the fields are all different? If the intent is to work like Exchange, and to work with Outlook, why not map fields to Outlook fiel...

ActiveSync Tasks and Notes?

Can notes and tasks be added to ActiveSync? It is hard to move my users to the new process when they will lost the ability to sync this data.

As I understand it, the protocol provides for this.

Fields and Flags

In my opinion, Mailenable needs to support the fields and flags that Outlook supports. My user's calendars and mailboxes went through a chaotic storm once we began using the MAPI plug in. Calendars: - Need calendar color coding as supported by Outlook. Trying to manage a busy calendar when there are...

Flags and Categories?

1) In Outlook, tasks have additional fields that are not available in MailEnable. One in particular that is important to my company is "company" This field is not supported and MailEnable strips it off my user's task entries which is driving them nuts. 2) In Outlook, calendar items can be color-code...

Notes and Tasks?

Will notes and tasks be added to activesync? I have users that rely heavily on these. I understand the activesync protocol supports these?

Re: User Access to EAS

FYI to anyone who is having this problem, I did open a ticket and the problem was that some of my users had the HTTP mail service not-enabled. Not a service I used before so it was overlooked.

[SOLVED] User Access to EAS

I am having difficulty setting up EAS. I am finding that two accounts I use are able to connect but another is not. All accounts have the activesync service enabled. When I use the MailEnable ActiveSync Installation Verification Utility with the third account, I am getting an error: The remote serve...

Task, Mail and Appt Issues

My users seem to have regular issues with: 1) Calendar appointment colors being stripped randomly. 2) Task "company" field being stripped randomly. 3) Email flag colors either being stripped completely or reverting to red randomly. The problem does not affect all users and seems to be random behavio...

4.17 Update

I am a registered user of V. 4 ME Enterprise. I installed version 4.17 last weekend and now: 1) Attachments don't work in webmail (we get an error stating the license is invalid) 2) Global address book does not work (it just isn't listed anywhere on a new message) 3) Users can no longer manage auto-...
