Unread Sent items

Hi there,
We have MailEnable Enterprise Edition and MAPI connector on Outlook 2016. I am facing the following problem. When I sent an email, that email shown in the Sent Items as Unread. Why is that and how can I avoid it?
I also think that the same is happening with ActiveSync protocol.
