NDR's not sent

NDR's not sent

When there is a catch-all mailbox, I do not see a NDR sent.
Also I can not find the SMTP-NDR-FAILEDRECIPS.TXT or SMTP-NDR.TXT files anywhere.

Any thoughts.....

Sorry, not sure what you mean. You are sending from a mailbox which is a catch-all and it does not receive an NDR? Have you enabled the option to only send NDRs to authenticated senders under the SMTP settings? We recently fixed a problem where if this was enabled, the SMTP service could change the authentication status when the message was retried, so it did not realise the message was sent authenticated, and does not send an NDR. It is fixed at https://www.mailenable.com/beta

For the SMTP-NDR-FAILEDRECIPS.TXT and other file, these are template files you can create, they don't exist until created. When they don't exist, the service just uses a default template.

Thank you for the reply.

When a email is received for an unknown user, (typo in the address), these go to the postmaster account because it is set up as the catch-all.
But no NDR is sent to the original sender so they would know to correct the email address.
Under SMTP connector Properties > Failure Notifications the only box checked is to send a copy of all NDRs to an internal email account.
Under the Postoffice connector Properties > General Settings > Non-Delivery Receipt Generation > Use SMTP options to determine.
