Socket error when sending, OK after server reboot

Post by rookie »

Hello Guys!

I have this new server (Windows 2012 R2) with ME Standard. When sending email from local mailbox to Gmail, The ME log file shows a lot of socket error communication errors (see below). ME tries to send testing different IP:s resolved by NS. Attempt(0), Attempt(1), .... If the server is rebooted, then the stuck outbound message is sent right away.

Someone any clue?

Attempting to connect to MX 1 of 5
Socket connection to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com failed (error 10060)
Attempting to connect to MX 2 of 5
Socket connection to gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com failed (error 10060)
...
Message Delivery Failure. Attempt (0): Could not connect to mail server for domain (gmail.com). The remote mail server could not be contacted at this time. Message has been requeued.
