WebAdmin hanging

Our web admin is hanging when we try to create a new mailbox, we click create mailbox, fill in mailbox name and password and click next but then it hangs until we get a 500 error page (possibly due to timeout).
Running on Windows Server 2008 r2 and IIS 7.5

Any ideas?

Has this server been migrated from another MailEnable server recently or have there been any configuration changes made?
The issue is most likely that the IME_ADMIN user does not have full access to the CONFIG directory and children.

Here is how to diagnose:

1. I would check the event log for errors.
2. Run process mon and monitor either the config direcory path or w3wp. It will show any errors accessing the folders.

Migrated no, but yes we are still tweaking configurations since this is a recent install.
Grabbed process mon and I only see these errors.
Name not found for "HKU\.DEFAULT\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mail Enable\Mail Enable\Administration"
No such file for "Config\AUTH.BLK" but after that opens AUTH.TAB (the auth.blk file does not exist)

and for event viewer this source is ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0

We are having the same problem.
We did what was stated and not solved.
Any more ideas?

We are having the same problem.
We did what was stated and not solved.
Any more ideas?
Do you see any event log errors? Does this occur if you assign a ne mailbox ADMIN rights and login to web admin for alternative post office? If run "Process monitor" (http://www.sysinternals.com) and filter on the "w3wp.exe" process do you see any "Access Denied" errors in the output?
