Public Folder Logs

Dear Ian & Team,

Someone has deleted the pubroot data probably from clients interface, however we are restoring the database from our backup.

I would need your help to find that from which Email User ID the mail were being deleted (data deletion logs) or if not deleted manually by any users pls share the root cause of this issue.

How are the users accessing the "Public" folder? Are they using Web mail, IMAP client, MAPI client? When you say deleted pubroot data are you referring to messages under the pubroot folder or within a sub folder to "Public". Is the actual folder missing or just the messages within the folder?
