Flood protection

Post by Nime » Mon Dec 12, 2011 2:27 pm

Hi

Is there any built-in flood control mechanism in MailEnable? We are receiving tons of spam messages of an authenticated/hacked account from multiple IP addresses.

I think the best way to prevent these unwanted messages is flood protection.

MailEnable will allow you to restrict the number of messages sent per hour per user. Turning this feature on will mean that any compromised accounts will not be able to flood.
This is available in Enterprise and Premium Editions.
