[SOLVED] Deleting of mails does not work from iPad

Hi

I have an iPad with several accounts connecting using IMAP.

Receiving the mails is not an issue at all. But whenever I delete mails on the iPad, the mails are not deleted on the server and reappear shortly after the deletion again.

Is this a bug or a setup issue?

I have Version 6.6 of the Enterprise Premium installed.

Hi,

Not aware of any bugs in this area of IMAP. Have you inspected the IMAP log files in respect to the mailbox, date/time you perform the delete to see if any errors are produced? If this is reproducible on all mailboxes then I would suggest lodging a support ticket via the MailEnable website and provide details of a test mailbox along with server access so that technician to emulate and review the relevant log files.

Thanks for your reply. I have raised a support ticket, as I could not find an error message in the log files.

Hi,

Problem was that under the IMAP registry branch the registry "Index files enabled" was disabled. Setting the key to 1 (enabled) resolved the problem.
