Hi,
I'm using a relay mail address to send mail from my .net applications.
Everythings runs fine, but sometimes it hangs up with the error "You are disconnected for policy reasons, please try again later".
I have no idea where to look for to get a more detailed error message.
In the log of MailEnable I could not found a sending attempt of the specific e-mail address.
Is there a good approach how to find out what's going on?
Best regards -
Tom

Re: You are disconnected for policy reasons
Hi,
If there is no evidence of a connection from the IP address where the .NET application resides in the MailEnable logs then the issue will be elsewhere and not related to MailEnable. Are you certain that the application connect to the MailEnable SMTP service and not another mail server or proxy? You need to inspect the SMTP activity log file and search for the sender address the application is using to send.
