I have version 8 and was wondering if there's an option anywhere that makes it so that when you open email in the junk folder, it blocks images and links?
For example, junk mail that has images attached to a specific image on the hosted site will load, indicating to them that you have an active email address just by opening the email. Anything that loads from an external site should be blocked.
Another example, html code, links, attachments, and other objects can contain viruses or malicious code. Simply opening the email is enough to infect a computer. However if the junk folder blocks these and shows text only, the end-user is much more protected (unless they move the email or it goes to the inbox).
Are these options available in version 8? If not, are they in version 9?

Hi,
There are global options for the web mail client to prevent the loading of images and to remove unknown tags and scripts from HTML messages. However this is a global option. There no specific options to set this for the Junk E-Mail folder. Please see:
