email from a gmail account

Post by rfwilliams777 » Mon Jul 02, 2018 7:18 pm

I have a client that the owner uses a gmail account. Her employees use email hosted on my server. Any email from her account goes to the Junk Email folder every time. I have whitelisted and whitelisted her email address in both ME and MXScan. Today I set up a filter in the post office that any email from her email account to stop processing filters so the email will come through. Still it comes through and arrives in the junk email folder no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

The first step is to trace through the log files to determine what filter is marking the message as spam. My guess is, you have SMTP reverse DNS blacklisting or URL blacklisting actions to mark as spam. The message is triggering the SMTP filter which marks it as spam.

Here is an article to help you trace: ... D=ME020529
