External vs Internal email differentiation

Post by alltheplugs »

With the ever increasing amount of phishing emails out there I would like to add an INTERNAL EMAIL" / "EXTERNAL EMAIL[/b" to incoming messages depending on the source to help users in identifying phishing attempts.I see this fairly regularly in email correspondence and thought it would be another tool in the toolbox. I would like to add it either in the subject or perhaps the first line of the body. I was unable to find this ability natively. Has anyone gotten this to work with a custom script and if so would could you provide the details?

Thank you.

You could probably add a filter in each postoffice to modify the subject

Actually just append something to subject of external senders would be great.
