Login with multiple domains to a single postoffice?

Post by kiamori »

Is it possible to configure mailenable to accept logins from multiple domains under the same postoffice?

For example, I want to allow the following configuration:
PostOfficeA.tld

user@PostOfficeA.tld
userb@domainB.tld

The reason for this is a client acquisition where they have many employees that will use the old domain for marketing and business since its still an active business but many of them need to also receive emails from the new company domain as well as many of the new company needs to use the new domain.

We don't want to go through and update the login credentials for 400 users if we do not have to.

Any ideas?

Logins are done using the "username@postofficename" and not by using the domains that are in the postoffice. I think there is a way to change the postoffice name but it is something I have never tried.
