MAPI issue

Post by dcol » Mon Oct 05, 2020 10:12 pm

I don't know what happened, but the only two email accounts I have that are using MAPI are resending already sent emails. I am using Thunderbird and Outlook. Obviously Outlook is using MAPI. If I have TB open then open Outlook the entire send folder is sent on the local server address 127.0.0.1 again. I am not sure if that address is used by MAPI, but I suspect it is. I disabled MAPI and the issue is gone. The MAPI connector may be doing this. By the way this just started this morning. MAPI has been used for about a month. But I cannot confirm if TB and Outlook were opened together before today.

Is there some issue if another client is used while the MAPI connector is active? Is MAPI picking up on the send folder from TB? There is nothing in the outbox, all these emails were sent in the past.
