SPam Filters

Post by MartynK »

How can I see what filters are being run ?

I can see if something has bee caught be a filter but not if all are actually running.

I configured Spam Assasin as one of the first in the list, it certainly does not look like its getting called for all emails.

Is there a way to se ?

Thanks

Hi,

We only log if the MailEnable filtering dll or the SpamAssassin dll is being loaded (you will need to enable higher level logging for the MTA agent to see this: http://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/ar ... D=me020585). In order to see if SpamAssassin is filtering the messages you will need to inspect the spamassassin log files.

I found the problem and should have known better really.

After installing SA, you need to restart the MTA process once you have enabled the SA filter.

Might be one to update on your documentation.

Thanks
