AJAX

Post by rockinthesixstring »

To keep up with the Jones's (SM) I thing ME would go a long way if the .NET WebMail could use ATLAS (AJAX) in its PostBack areas. As well as to use DIV tags instead of Frames.

All good suggestions, Chase. Be sure to log them on the ME website for greater "visibility".

You can upload via javascript, and you can now even drag/drop upload.

http://www.thecssninja.com/javascript/fileapi
http://valums.com/ajax-upload/
etc...

It's just that none of this is currently available in MailEnable.

Ajax stands for "Asynchronous JavaScript and XML " which is used for part wise rendering of web page not whole page rendering, like as in registration forum when we enter E-mail address in Textbox then email address checked on the server via AJAX,so AJAX perform an important role in website development.
