MailEnable - Hotfix Download Page
 

This page is for hot fixes for the MailEnable product. You should ensure that you have taken appropriate precautions for rolling back such hotfixes before installing them. Rollback procedures are typically provided in the readme file associated with the update.

Notification of updates are communicated through the MailEnable Update List. This list can be subscribed from the MailEnable home page or by accessing Online Services.

With the exception of security updates, it is recommended to wait for a product update unless you are specifically experiencing the issue addressed in the related hotfix.

If you do not understand the install instructions, please do not proceed the installation. MailEnable usually provides an updated release shortly after the posting the update to this page.

This Hotfix includes hotfix ME-10039 for convenience. If you have MailEnable Standard and have already applied ME-10039 there is no need to apply this fix.

+ Addresses issue with MailEnable System Filtering where filters applying a subject prefix may cause a null pointer exception. This exception may then lead to the MTA deleting messages.

Applies to: MailEnable 1.X and 2.X Versions

Reason:
This update significantly locks down the rights and permissions required for MailEnable protocol services.

You should carefully read the above-mentioned document to understand the changes that the update will make to the server.

  2. Run the executable

Notes:
  1. Plesk users should review KB Article ME020478 before applying this update.
  2. If you are running the update on a domain controller, you should check that the IME_SYSTEM account is assigned the "Logon as Service" right under the Administraive Tools|Local Security Policy
  3. If you have problems with SSL having run this update, you should review KB Article ME020479 .
