Depending on the version of Netscape being used, logging in may not work due to the use of the "@" character in the username for MailEnable logins.
MailEnable can specify alternate characters for the "@" character. In the POP Properties dialog box in the MailEnable Administration Program, it is possible to enter the list of characters that can be used in place of @. So instead of using a username such as test@mailenable to log on, this allows test%mailenable as the username.
