Re: AUP
The AUP really should be a credit based system. Buy a renewal credit, you don't need to buy another until the credit is used on an upgrade. If something needs to be used to address the minor security fixes and bug squashing, then so be it. But it does seem like stealing to take money for an upgrade ...

Re: How To Troubleshoot Outgoing Messages?
I haven't heard any other ideas but I have noticed another bit of activity. The Application Pool for MailEnable Protocols will shut off. This is on a Windows 2003 Server with IIS6. I can restart the Pool and all seems good with the testing tools. Are there settings I can change to make it more resil...

Re: How To Troubleshoot Outgoing Messages?
There are no mentions in the SMTP log. I went looking through the files in my webmail, and all of my testing outgoing messages are in the folder "Sent Items". It's as if the messages are just dropping into the Sent Items box without stopping at the outbox. I have switched clients to see if there is ...

How To Troubleshoot Outgoing Messages?
I just set up ActiveSync on my server. I am getting the green light on my settings and have an SSL certificate for the domain. I connected fine as far as my Inbox goes, but I am unable to send messages. I just get a generic notice that the action failed. My SMTP logs do not show any activity. I did ...

Message checked after delete action in webmail
I've been sitting on this issue for a while, hoping that an update would address it, but I think it's been long enough. Why is it that after deleting messages from the webmail that the next message that remains after that last one that was marked to be deleted is checked? This leads to accidental de...

Re: abuse
Do you run web services on the same server? I've had issues where php was used to send mail, both where a form was not created correctly and having a wordpress plugin abuse the system. Just something to consider.
