Re: IMAP STARTTLS and SSL/TLS
Hi, Is it possible to enable both STARTTLS and SSL/TLS on IMAP? We have already SSL/TLS working. To enable STARTTLS i found out I had to remove "Require SSL" checkox after listen to alternate port. But then the SSL/TLS option is not working anymore. From what I understand STARTTLS is more secure th...

EAS Service Activity and EAS IIS Activity don't work
It never shows anything into the Postoffice sections or global "Usage" section of Web Administration.
I also already sent a defect report on the site.
ME version is 10.30
And OS is Windows Server 2019 Standard

Re: Update SSL certificate
Yes but to my experience, you'd best disable SNI, ME's SNI implementation is rather flunky, it often doesn't work correctly and you may end with services being inaccessible as result.

Re: Update SSL certificate
If you use ACME based/Let's Encrypt certificates ME will just seek for the first certificate with the CN name you specified into the configuration so just make two PS scripts, one will stop services prior of the certificate renewal the other will add the appropriate CACLs to the certificate and its ...

Re: Spoofed email
You could create a filter using a criteria script that matches the from field with the envelope-from one, and spams out the message when it doesn't match but beware it could cause several issues with mailing lists. Honestly I catch almost all of those with just the ME internal bayesian filter.

Re: Spoofing me@mydomain.com to me@mydomain.com but not from my IP.
After years I finally found a track, you have to use DMARC. But not only a DKIM and a DMARC policy! In the DMARC "p=none" indicates to take no action (Domain Owner is not asking the Receiver to take action if a DMARC check fails.). It is also strongly recommended (and widely used) to avoid being bl...

Re: (Workaround) JSON returned from ME Web Administration AJAX servlet *is not valid*
This is fixed by explicitly setting culture to EN in web.config on a server that doesn't have EN as default culture setting:
Code: Select all
<globalization requestEncoding="utf-8" responseEncoding="utf-8" culture="en" />

Re: JSON returned from ME Web Administration AJAX servlet *is not valid*
Hi, Yes, we had received the report, so it was passed through to the developers to check and fix. Unfortunately it just has not been addressed yet. I will ask them to prioritize it. To me it looks like the culture setting on the server it affecting it, since I don't get the error. I'll let you know...

"Passwords can't be longer than 30 characters"
That's fine with the small issue that said message triggers when the password is 32 characters when you create a mailbox... and also if you edit the mailbox directly said restriction "is removed" (as long as it doesn't break anywhere else)..?
