Re: Filter not running after being tagged by firewall

Try using wildcard around the text you are matching, so

*FG61F*

That will match if it is included in the email subject, not just if it is the only text.

Re: Mail forwarding problem

Possibly some redirection caused by something else, maybe a filter? Check the postoffice connector Debug log when it is delivering the email to see whether it is the one copy being sent.

Re: Spam filter on mail alias it does not work

It was the postoffice connector log which is needed, since that is what runs the mailbox filters to act on the emails. Check to see if they have indication of what is happening.

Re: Spam filter on mail alias it does not work

It does not matter what the recipient address is, the action is on the mailbox, for all messages arriving (it does not look at the recipient). So if it goes to the inbox then it could be due to whitelisting. The postoffice connector Debug log may contain more details of what is happening.

Re: PCI Compliance

If the "Only allow secure authentication" is enabled on port 25 inbound for SMTP, then it will only allow authentications if STARTTLS is used to encrypt the traffic. You will need to check the SMTP Activity log to try to identify their connection, maybe it is not trying to authenticate, or does not ...

Re: Filtering and copies

You are best to just create a global filter that checks the sender and recipient email address for the domains in the postoffice and have it do the forwarding. Postoffice filters can't check inbound emails since they only act on emails being delivered locally. There are some more details on this at:...

Re: Connection Dropping not function

The connection dropping does not apply to when a user does not authenticate for relay. Only if they are sending to a incorrect address or are incorrectly authenticating.

Re: Cannot enable Integration authentication

It is giving the error when it is just trying to save to a configuration file locally. Had you rebooted after installation? I would try reinstalling or otherwise contact our support for help. You can use https://www.mailenable.com/suggest/suggestion.asp if the form for this - I'll raise a support ti...

Re: Connection Dropping not function

It stops looking at the data - so won't generate anything to be sent. So the logs will match what is actually sent.

Re: Collecting All Email in a single mailbox

Sorry, it is not able to do this. It can only retrieve from one remote mailbox to one local mailbox. It can do many of these, but it cannot redistribute the emails to different mailboxes based on the email address. The destination is the one mailbox. Possibly using the Professional version you can m...

Re: Connection Dropping not function

There was another thread which we had posted an updated SMTP service to, but it was in the Standard forum. I have copied it below. The beta page also has this changed in the next minor update. - The PTR would only be checked if a recipient is valid, before that it is already not accepting it, so it ...

Check under the Extensions settings as well. To do this, in the admin program, expand the Servers->localhost branch, right click on the Extensions icon and select Properties from the popup menu. In the window that appears, make sure that the junk e-mail processing option is set to "Determined by pos...

Re: Spamhaus blacklisted my MailEnable Server

What blacklist from Spamhaus are you on? It is an existing listing? You can use https://check.spamhaus.org/ to check your IP. You generally have to send a number of unsolicited emailsbefore Spamhaus will list you. You can also check https://www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=ME020339 for h...

Re: DDos Attack problem

The PTR would only be checked if a recipient is valid, before that it is already not accepting it, so it doesn't do a lot of checks since they are not needed. The problem is the SMTP service is iterating through the recipients sent before the connection is dropped, since the client sent a block of r...
