We've put a new POP3 service on our hotfix page at http://www.mailenable.com/hotfix. This removes support for the LAST command (since it wasn't working, and it's rarely used). Yahoo should then see the command isn't available and stop giving you duplicates.

This means that the email only contained an attachment that wasn't handled by the webmail, or that there was multiple attachments and MailEnable had a problem with decoding them (could happen with some malformed, or virus email). We have improved the support for messages that only contain attached f...

You can enter a range by using * as a wildcard. So 192.168.0.* would be valid.

Not in the current versions. This is still under development (mostly done though), and will be available in the Enterprise edition.

To get the autoresponder working in the current Standard version, save the following to a file with the extension ".reg" and double click. This will enable autoeresponders. So you can autorespond and redirect an email at the same time. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWAR...

Since HTTPMail keeps all the emails and folders on the server, Outlook will display them seperately. For example, the inbox for one account is in a different location to the inbox for another account (same with Deleted/Sent Items). So you won't be able to have the seperate accounts like you would wi...

To view the attachments for an email, either click the attachment icon in the preview window, or click the icon next to the checkbox in the Inbox list. When the email opens in a new window, click the "Attachments" tab and you should see all the attached files.

When you install the webmail it will create a virtual directory called "mewebmail" under either your default web site, or if you have multiple sites, you will be asked in the install process as to which site you want to install it under. You then would access your webmail with the URL: http://[serve...

Currently all messages are checked for viruses if you have enabled anti-virus checking. We intend to have this configurable at a later date. I don't have any specific recommendations for a virus checker, as we basically use a variety to test with. We do notice that some are a lot faster than others....

There was a recent change in the Diagnostic to ignore internal IPs. Likely it may have something to do with this. We'll check this out.

Check the logs in the Mail Enable\Logging\POP directory to see if there has been a connection from the email client. This will tell you if it is a username/password issue. Otherwise it may be the server name or IP address you have set in the email client.

We are still working on these issues, but wanted to get an update up on the site to resolve some of the issues people are having. There are a couple of items we are still to resolve, which should be done shortly. Thanks for your patience, and I will post here when the update is available.

Yep, we made a mistake in the build. It should have been fixed in the 1.5018 version. Is this the one you are running? We are releasing the 1.6 version soon which has quite a few changes and improvements.

We've identified the problem with selecting "Empty 'Deleted Items' Folder" when in some versions of Outlook. The differences between the versions of Outlook/OE was causing the problem. We'll post a hotfix soon for this (we are currently testing over all the versions), along with some other small fix...
