Unread messages indicator

Hi,

Currently testing the new 8.5 beta version and found out that when the startpage of webmail is set to the account summary page, (nearly) all of the messages in the Inbox folder are indicated as new message (indicated by the bold message number), however all messages in the folder are read. Clicking the folder resolves it: it will show the actual unread messages.

When setting the startpage to the Inbox folder, this problem does not occur.

I've seen this behaviour also on other folders (Send Items eg), but this is less consistent as the inbox folder.

Edit:
The problem on other folder occurs when the startpage is set to Inbox. The Sent Items for examples shows (after login) 5 new messages, where the folder contains 6 messages in total. When clicking on the folder, the indicator disappears (like it should, because all items were already read).

Regards,
Barry

Hi,

This is a known issue in the 8.5 kits and changes have been made for the revised version that still need testing.

Good to hear!!!

Is it already known that in IE 11 changing the folder in webmail does not 'unhighlight/unselect' the previous selected folder? So when clicking around after a while all folders are shown (at the same time) as they are currently been watching.
I do not see this behaviour in Chrome (latest version), haven't tested it on other browsers...
