Unable to Send As shared email account

Post by ab4ok »

We have several email accounts (ap@r123.com is an example of one) that are fully shared to another specific email user on the server (jsmith@r123.com for example) . We are using the 64bit versions of Outlook 2016 and Outlook 365 on Windows 10 (21H2) 64-bit and the MailEnable connecter v2.75. We can add the shared email address to Outlook via the Server tab => Open Resource and read the email with no problems. When we try to reply from that mailbox, it always shows the original user, not the shared address. We have gone to New Email => Options and enabled the From field, and added ap@r123.com . We also have it selected when sending the email. It still shows the original user's name and address in the sent email, not the shared address.

Does anyone know what to do to get Outlook to send an email as the shared email address, ap@r123.com instead of jsmith@r123.com?

Thanks! I appreciate your thoughts on this problem!
