EAS

Post by jsawyer77 »

We have one customer that may want to use Exchange activeSync.

We have several clients that and host several domains running ME 6 Pro.

1) Can we limit the EAS for this one client and only purchase licenses for their users?
2) What ports need to made available for EAS
3) can they sync their calendar if they use outlook as there client.

TIA

No, you can only purchase packs of licenses. The smallest is a 20 pack.
2) What ports need to made available for EAS
Please review the deployment guide: http://www.mailenable.com/activesync/EA ... _Guide.pdf
3) can they sync their calendar if they use outlook as there client.
Not via EAS. EAS is for mobile devices and will not work in Outlook. In order for full synchronization of Outlook you need to install Enterprise Premium and then download and install the MAPI connector for outlook on each client machine.
