Error Log failed to obtain a lock on the blockfile "_activity.blk" folder does not exist

Post by stavfrou »

Hi,

I am running ME Enterprise premium(10.31) on Win2019 64bit.

I am getting the following Error.

General: (MailEnable IMAP Service (C:\PROGRA~2\MAILEN~1\Bin64\MEIMAPS.exe) error: 3) ME-EXXXX: [Thread:6956] Error (Class S): BlockFileLock Activity notification handler (WaitForAccessToFile) failed to obtain a lock on the blockfile (E:\Program Files (x86)\Mail Enable\POSTOFFICES\MAILENABLE\MAILROOT\userX\_activity.blk).

This is done on users with iMac devices (not on iPhone).
When i checked to the folder structure i realised that E:\Program Files (x86)\Mail Enable\POSTOFFICES\MAILENABLE\MAILROOT is missing.
All users are under E:\Program Files (x86)\Mail Enable\Postoffices\DomainX\MAILROOT.

Is there a know root cause for this? How to mitigate?
Please Advice
