I have been pulling my hair out trying to find the problem.
When sending a message from Gmail, the sender gets this back.
The response from the remote server was:
454 TLS not available due to temporary reason
I have been searching Google for anything to help.
I am using Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and IIS 6.2
I have researched and found people saying use MakeCert.exe, which is not supported in 2012... to create a certificate.
I do not even know if that is the answer here.
Is a certificate required for TLS? if so where can I get one?
I have TLS enabled on incoming and outgoing SMTP connection.
I only have 6 post offices that I use. Most are mailboxes are redirects.
Any help is appreciated.

Re: Incoming messages from Gmail are returned deliverable
Hi,
You have SMTP inbound TLS enabled. If you haven't configured an SSL certificate to be used within MailEnable then it will fail. Therefore until you obtain an SSL certificate and import into the Windows certificate store on your server you wont be able to use TLS (disable it and you will be able to receive from Gmail). There are many SSL providers where you can buy an SSL certificate for your domains.

Thank you for the information.
I'm going to try using Let's Encrypt for the certificate and cross my fingers.
