Hi Guys
Maybe you get the information that Windows Server 2022 will not longer support the internal smtp server. so i was looking for a Smart tool to
get you notification send to our support email adress.
But unfortunately i get the following error and i don't know why.
554 5.2.252 SendAsDenied; edv-service@company.com not allowed to send as postmaster@company_2.local
We are trying to relay the messages from Backup, Raids and NAS systems to Office 365.
There is a user with a licence. The User is able to login and has the permissions to SendasUser NAS,RAID,VEEAM.
In Windows Server below 2022 the Message was always forwardet with the "from"-adress. Now it seems that the
"from" adress is replaced by "postmaster"
Does somebody has the same issue?
Thanks in advance.

Re: SendAsDenied with postmaster@company.local
Hi,
What are the devices sending in the email conversation as the from address? And what are they using in the email headers? The mail server will just relay what the client is using, so you will need to check what the MAIL FROM line is in the SMTP Activity log and also check the email headers.
