Gmail Failure

Post by tonyatl1 »

I am unable to send to gmail addresses because mailenable is binding to the wrong ip address for outbound mail - at least as far as i can tell. i have multiple ip addresses on the server but only 1 is configured in smtp settings for inbound and outbound.

gmail says that the sending ip has no ptr record and other paraphernalia. and of course this is true. i want to use only the properly configured ip address which worked until a few hours ago.

how do i force mailenable to use the desired ip address? as i said i have the mailenable smtp settings configured. this problem just started a couple of hours ago, and after applying windows server 2019 patches. i am running standard 10.42.

i have no idea why mailenable has started using this other ip address all of a sudden.
