I followed the steps outlined here www.mailenable.com/kb/content/article.asp?ID=ME020073.
One thing i noticed is when running the icacls on the different folders, i received this message:
IME_SYSTEM: No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.
Successfully processed 0 files; Failed processing 1 files
I get this for the 5 folder paths, & i am using the correct path.
When i start webmail locally & login as a user, it does not load in the mailbox view as quickly as original server, even though it has over double the resources & no load. Looking in processmonitor, i see this error often with w3wp.exe:
Path- C:\MailEnable\Config\Postoffices\Domain|Mailboxes\user.SYS ACCESS DENIED
Detail- Desired Access: Generic Read/Write, Disposition: Open, Options, Synchronous IO Non-Alert, Non-Directory File
But then after 5 minutes or so, the mailbox view opens & can see the emails. However, each interaction (clicking on Contacts, Caleandar, etc) then takes about another 2-3 mins or so to load.
I dont know if its the folder permissions, or something else possibly going on between the service & IIS. Any other suggestions on what to check?
