SSL/TLS or STARTTLS Error when trying to setup mail client

I'm trying to setup ME for as easy a setup as possible. Ideally, users can just enter their email address and password and the settings will be autodiscovered. I don't have ActiveSync add-on, but had hoped things would work similarly to this.

I am currently getting an error:
Please double check the protocol (SSL/TLS or STARTTLS) Unable to parse TLS packet header Unable to parse TLS packet header.
