Sending email to Outbound detect with wrong size

Hi Mailenable Support,

I have generated dummy file with size 3OMB attached and send email to gmail.

Then we have a bounce back :

Reason: ME-I0022: [B5DF6FE00B1B4CF293E12F9CD4EDE915.MAI] This message exceeded the maximum outbound message size as set by the mail administrator.
The maximum message size is 40960 KB.
The message you attempted to send was 41057 KB in size.

Can you help to discover why when I send outbound, It detected the size is larger that it is?

I have set limit for outbound is 40MB in mailenable setting.

Hi,

The size restriction is for the full size of the message. Its not just the size of the attachment.

Checking setting in outlook there is some setting to make sure the size is has its limit
