Catch-all not working - Evaluation

Greetings,

I have configured catch-all to direct to a mail user in the Domain configuration.

However, when we send an email gmail/yahoo bounce it back with an error

Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.

<alkadsflkjadf@domainname.com>:
550: Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable or not local.

What could be the problem ?

Hi,

Are you able to post up snippets of the SMTP log files in regards to the inbound message from Gmail returning the 550 error? Post up both activity and debug log snippets.

I sent an email to alkadsflkjadf@customerdomain.com and also to newtestbounce@customerdomain.com

One with google and another with Yahoo email.

I have changed IP/Domain Names for privacy.

Apologies, I forgot to attach the Address-Map file.

Please find attached.

As usual I have changed all domainnames for privacy. However, the problem domain is DomainWithCatchall.com in the Address-MAP

Hi,

The only way I can see this occurring is if you have enabled the SMTP security option for "Disable all catchalls".
