[SOLVED]Will postoffice level features selection override the setting of Global setting?

Post by poweredge »

If I enabled global setting for "Messages are moved to Junk E-mail folder" and "Report is enabled for every mailbox". Then I disable both feature in postoffice level, will I still get junk mail (ie, Mark as Spam) delivery to junk folder and receiving daily junk report? (ie, which override the global setting)

In contrast, if I enable global setting to per post office decision, then post office feature Check/Uncheck will control the action, there is no confusion anymore as there is no override situation.

The confusion only exists if we set the option in Global setting.

Thanks.

ps. Somehow I always forget where to look for global settings for Junk mail delivery and Junk mail report, anyone share the same? :)

Hi,

When you set the options globally;

1. They will be greyed out and not configurable at the postoffice level;
2. Global options will over ride postoffice level.
