MailEnable Authentication TD Provider Error: 1326

Post by huseyindikmne »

I see errors from different users, as seen in the attachment, in Windows event logs. What is the reason? I am using Mailenable Premium V.10.39. Windows Server 2019 Standard

The description for Event ID 10000 from source MailEnable cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

MailEnable Authentication TD Provider (C:\PROGRA~2\MAILEN~1\Bin64\MEIMAPS.exe) error: 1326
Windows Authentication for User (****@****.com) on Domain () failed with error (1326): Unknown user name or bad password.

The message resource is present but the message was not found in the message table

Hi,

You have enabled the domain/postoffice to authenticate using Integrated Windows authentication. And is failing and then dropping back to MailEnable authentication.

Please see: https://www.mailenable.com/documentation/10.0/Enterprise/General.html

Disable the option if not required in each postoffice.
