Office365 Exchange connector set security restrictions to my ME server

There is some mailbox in Office365 ，and I have my own ME server（Windows2016 data center），and then I want to connect the Office365 and the ME server， but it's had some problem：
1. when I set the connector without security restrictions， it always can‘t received some mail form some regular mail address
2.when set the security restrictions， both of that options were failed to connect ， can not received any mail.
please tell how to figure out to set the security restrictions？
