Hi all,
we have the enterprise edition and bought it mainly to be able to use the filtering function.
The problem is that it doesn't work.
We need for example to auto forward all outgoing mails from mailbox A to mailbox B (both mailboxes are hosted by the same server and are in the same domain).
we have tried to use mailbox filtering, postoffice filtering, and global filtering. Nothing works.
(e.g. mailbox->filters->enable filters for this mailbox->add->where the from header contains the email of the sender->add action->forward to address (mailbox B).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
John

Re: Filter outgoing mails from a mailbox
Outgoing emails will only ever pass through the global filter. The postoffice and mailbox filters are executed when emails arrives to the postoffice/mailbox. Global works on all emails. Once you have created the global filter, make sure that the email address you are checking has wildcards around it? i.e. *bob@example.com* as the checking is via string matching.
