General AntiVirus

Post by lesgray »

I would like to use an antivirus to protect the mail server but I do not need it to check incoming mail as we use mxguarddog to do that. I simply want to protect the mail server generally. Do I need to exclude any of the mailenable folders after installing an antivirus product? Is there anything else I should do?

Yes that's what you need to do.

Fyi, I use Symmantec End Point, and even turn on Firewall, it automatically blocked those bots and other attacks.
