SUMMARY

This article explains how to enable the ADSI prerequisite when installing MailEnable versions 6 and earlier on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and later.

DETAIL

MailEnable requires the IIS 6 Compatibility mode to be enabled within Windows Server.

INFORMATION

Follow the steps below on how to enable IIS 6 Compatibility mode within Windows Server:

1. In the task bar next to the "Start" button, click on the "Server Manager" icon.
2. In the Server Manager window click on "Roles" in the tree node.
3. Next navigate within the "roles" window (right hand side) to the "Roles Services" section.
4. Click on the "Add Role Services".
5. In the "Roles Services" list navigate down and locate the "IIS 6 Management compatibility" node. Tick all.
6. Next click on install.
